CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES AT HAL:

  • ENGINEERING DESIGNER:
    HAL is currently accepting applications for a full time Engineering Designer with experience and training in water, wastewater, and storm drainage system design including:
        Piping
        Pump Stations
        Storage Reservoirs
        Treatment Facilities
        General water related design projects
    This position is to be filled by a candidate that has a formal design degree, or an individual that has significant and verifiable experience designing civil engineering water related systems.  It is desired that the candidate take a prime role in the layout and design of water and wastewater systems, and the preparation of Bidding and Construction documents. It is preferable that the Candidate have a college degree in technical design and 5-10 yrs experience.  A copy of an accredited college program or listing of qualifying experience should be submitted with the application.
     

        GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    We are looking for candidates that have the interest and desire to build a long term relationship and be an integral part of a well respected local engineering firm.  The salary for both positions is negotiable and dependent upon qualifications and experience of the candidate.

    ENGINEERS

    REQUIRED SKILLS:  Our Engineers are typically involved in Study Related Activities including analyzing numerical data, computer modeling of water related systems, and preparing written reports; Design Related Activities including design calculations and overseeing the preparation of design details; and Construction Related Activities including construction inspection and office support services.  Excellent skills in some or all of these areas are desired.

    EDUCATION: B.S. (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred) in Civil/Water Resources/Environmental (water related) Engineering.

    TECHNICIANS

    REQUIRED SKILLS:  Our Technicians typically provide CAD, construction inspection, and/or environmental monitoring services.

    EDUCATION:  An Associate Degree in one or more of the technical skill areas is helpful.
