Mr. Bigelow has more than 40 years of experience in municipal water system planning, design, construction, and operation. His overall water system experience includes source analysis, regional and local water system master planning, and pipeline, pump station, and reservoir planning and design. He is a recognized expert in well design and rehabilitation including the design and management of aquifer storage and recovery (ASR) systems. Prior to joining HAL in 1990, Mr. Bigelow served as Sandy City Water Engineer for six years, and as a water supply and waste disposal engineer for the U.S. Indian Health Service for five years. He has been active in the American Water Works Association for more than 25 years and formerly served as Chairman of the Small Systems Committee. Mr. Bigelow received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University. He is a recipient of the HAL Service with Integrity Award and the HAL Technical Excellence Award.
