Professional Geologist
Scott is a Geologist (PG) at Hansen, Allen & Luce (HAL). Scott’s professional experience is focused on hydrogeology and specifically groundwater characterization. He is widely respected as an expert in well drilling practices, well design and the development of highly efficient water wells. He works closely with drilling contractors, well service companies and other engineers to plan successful wells that minimize drilling risk and environmental impact. He also has experience developing springs, performing well siting studies, groundwater modeling, and completing Drinking Water Source Protection (DWSP) Plans.
Scott is a member of the Utah Ground Water Association and has served as a board member since 2021. He is an authorized Grout Seal Witness by the Utah Division of Drinking Water and licensed Professional Geologist (PG) in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. Scott received his M.S. degree in Geology from Brigham Young University and his B.S. degree in Geoscience with an emphasis in Geophysics from the University of Utah.
