Ridley is a registered professional engineer who specializes in helping rapidly growing water and wastewater utilities plan for future growth, improve operations, troubleshoot problems, save energy, promote conservation, and build stronger and more resilient systems in the face of growth, drought, and other challenges. His specialties include hydraulic modeling, water and wastewater system master planning, capital facilities planning, impact fees, and asset management. Ridley has been with Hansen, Allen & Luce for nearly 9 years. He currently serves as a project manager and supervisor. He earned a B.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah, and an M.Eng. in Civil and Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics at Utah State University.
Ridley enjoys public engagement and frequently presents information to elected and appointed officials to support them in their roles. He also enjoys working with operators, managers, and others in the water resources field. He attends and presents at several technical conferences each year in hopes of making a positive contribution to his professional community. He is honored to be among the many professionals working to provide essential services to citizens in Utah and throughout the country. His hard work and dedication were recognized in 2022 when he was awarded the Young Professionals Award by the Intermountain Section of the American Water Works Association.
