Principal
Mike is a Principal and Chief Engineer at Hansen, Allen & Luce, Inc. (HAL). He has over 30 years of experience in the design and management of water related engineering studies and design projects.
His professional experience has focused on water and wastewater engineering projects including the evaluation and design of large diameter pressure and gravity pipelines, water storage tanks, well houses, pumping facilities, spring development, river and lake diversions, and regulatory compliance. Projects have included irrigation, drinking water, secondary water, wastewater, and groundwater studies and designs.
Mike earned B.S.C.E. and M.S. degrees from Brigham Young University and is a registered professional engineer in Utah and California. Mike serves on the Standards Committee for the APWA Manual of Standard Specifications.
