Professional Geologist
Kate joined the HAL team as a Geologist in 2022. Her professional experience includes projects in solid and hazardous waste, regulatory and environmental compliance, contamination characterization studies and drinking water well siting, drilling, and construction. She provides expertise in hydrogeologic evaluations, technical reporting, multimedia sampling, and soil and water quality data analysis.
Kate’s expertise serving as a technical field lead has included oversight for a range of well drilling, development, and rehabilitation projects. Kate has overseen activities for various geotechnical, environmental, and water resource projects. Kate Herbert earned a B.S. degree in Environmental Geoscience with an emphasis in Hydrology from the University of Utah.
