Civil & Environmental Engineer
Jesco Helling joined Hansen, Allen & Luce (HAL) in June 2025 as a full-time project engineer supporting hydraulic modeling projects for drinking water and irrigation systems. Jesco earned his M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah. He studied advanced fluid mechanics and thermodynamics, renewable energy systems, water treatment, and distribution systems. He earned his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Florida State University. While at FSU, Jesco was a member of the swimming and diving team, where he served as a team captain and achieved multiple all-ACC honors. At the U, he was also part of the swimming and diving team and became the Ute’s first-ever BIG12 platform diving champion. In his spare time, Jesco likes to cook, hike, and play sports.
