Project Manager

Jason Coontz is a Project Manager focused on pumped systems and water and wastewater treatment. He has worked on numerous planning and design projects and collaborated with the HAL team as the Deputy Design Manager and Influent Pump Station Design Lead on the Salt Lake City Water Reclamation Facility Redevelopment Project. His expertise includes working in the public sector, managing regulatory compliance for the California Public Utilities Commission, and working as the technical lead of water and wastewater projects for Colorado Springs Utilities. Jason received his BS in Environmental Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and his MS in Environmental Engineering Science from Colorado School of Mines. In his spare time, Jason likes to mountain bike, snowboard, and explore the outdoors with his son, Kieran. He lives in Colorado Springs, but he visits HAL in Utah regularly.
