Civil & Environmental Engineer
Abby Trudeau is a project engineer at Hansen, Allen & Luce (HAL). She is a recent graduate from the University of Utah, earning her BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering. During her coursework, Abby worked in the University’s E-SURe Laboratory, where she collected and prepared soil samples for testing, ensured accuracy and consistency, and supported advanced research initiatives. As an intern, Abby used Civil 3D for roadway design, grading, and drainage on commercial and residential projects. She also designed stormwater management systems, including catch basin placement and hydraulic modeling in StormCAD. Now a full-time project engineer at HAL, she supports hydrologic and hydraulic modeling projects. Abby enjoys trail running, biking, and camping.
