Provo City completed a monolithic concrete floor for its West Side #2 water tank on June 16. Located on Slate Canyon Drive, the rectangular post-tension tank will have a finished first-phase capacity of 4 million gallons and will serve a new pressure zone in the city’s water system west of the railroad corridor. Walls are now under construction, and the tank should be completed later this year. Read more here from Provo City.
Hansen, Allen & Luce is the project’s principal engineer, responsible for its planning, design, and construction observation. The firm is providing similar services for the larger 6-million-gallon West Side #1 water tank and the associated transmission pipelines for both facilities.
ProBuild Construction, Inc., poured the floor and provided the video.
