Hansen, Allen & Luce, Inc., is pleased to celebrate National Groundwater Awareness Week March 9-15.
Groundwater sustains some 44% of the U.S. population (95% in rural areas), whether from a public source or a private well. Groundwater feeds many streams and lakes and plays an important environmental role. Of all water on Earth, only 1% is available for our use, most of which is groundwater.
Groundwater is a renewable resource but must be managed carefully. The National Ground Water Association recommends an annual water well checkup to help ensure water quality and proper well operation.
With 40 years of experience in the water industry, Hansen, Allen & Luce, Inc., regularly deals with groundwater issues including source evaluation, hydrogeologic investigation, well design, well houses, monitoring, testing, water quality, water rights, and permitting.
