Recently HAL staff, their families, and friends put in a hard day’s work planting trees at Glendale Middle School in Salt Lake City.
The Saturday morning event supported TreeUtah, which works to plant trees in public spaces throughout the state, making Utah a greener place to live, work, and play.
The Community Tree Planting program helps make our schools, parks, and other spaces beautiful and inviting by planting and maintaining large trees. With newly planted trees, these areas will help improve the air and lower temperatures in our cities.
