It was a beautiful October morning when HAL staff gathered at a Jordan River Trailhead to clean debris and trash from the area. Working with the Jordan River Commission, HAL volunteers supported preserving and enhancing one of Utah’s most precious natural resources. The JRC’s commitment to the health of the Jordan River and its surrounding ecosystem includes working to improve water quality and native vegetation.
“Our HAL staff are happy to give some of our time to this cause,” said Gordon Jones, HAL President. “Our office is located along this trail, a few miles south of here, we enjoy the natural elements that the trailhead offers.”
