Hansen, Allen & Luce (HAL) was a sponsor of the 2016 Water–Energy Nexus Forum, held Jan. 21 at the Davis Conference Center. The second annual event explored interdependencies between Utah’s water and energy systems and sustainable methods for managing both resources.
Lt. Gov. Spencer J. Cox praised HAL for its extended-period modeling that enabled Logan City’s water system to reduce its energy footprint and save money. Jordan Valley Water presented on its recent success managing energy with HAL’s help.
The forum was organized by the Rural Water Association of Utah and the Governor’s Office of Energy Development. HAL thanks these partners for the opportunity to contribute.
