Civil & Environmental Engineer

Anna is a Project Engineer at Hansen, Allen & Luce (HAL) specializing in stormwater projects with a focus on resilience. She is trained to holistically evaluate project impacts. She thrives when engaging all stakeholders and members of the design team to seek solutions that benefit the community, generate value, and support the natural world. Her background in design and planning makes her an integral part of HAL’s planning and modeling team. Her project experience includes advanced grading and drainage analysis, hydrologic modeling, and open channel flow/hydraulic modeling. She has experience in site design, utility layouts, LID design, cost estimating, erosion control, MS4 permitting, and master plan preparation. Anna uses multiple types of software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Storm and Sanitary Analysis, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and GIS.
Anna received her B.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah. Anna continues to be an active voice in the American Society of Civil Engineers. She is currently serving as the Utah Section President as well as a Western Representative for the Committee on Younger Members. The Utah Section recognized her as the Fresh Face of the Year in 2021.”
