Mr. Jones has focused 34 years of engineering on water resource projects. This experience includes in-depth planning, development, operation, maintenance, design and construction management of municipal and private water infrastructure projects. His project experience comprises managing multiple projects including large reservoir design and construction. Than’s decades of project management include water systems master planning, large sewer/reclaimed water system designs, flood control planning and the design of hydraulic structures.
Than’s expertise is in aqueduct systems; where he has considerable experience in planning studies, flow control stations design, condition assessment, rehabilitation and design and construction. Than received his M.S. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in hydraulics from California State University and his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University.
