Mr. Atencio has focused 29 years of engineering on water resource projects. Mark is a Senior Project Manager at Hansen, Allen & Luce, Inc. (HAL). He is a registered Professional Engineer in Utah. Mark’s experience includes the development, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of water resource projects. Mark’s project experience includes wells, pump stations, storage tanks, pipelines, and treatment plants. His work has addressed drinking water, pressurized irrigation, sanitary sewer, storm drain, and sewer re-use needs. Mark has considerable experience in drinking water systems including demand evaluation and long-range planning. His experience includes in-depth expertise in the planning, design, and construction management of municipal and private water infrastructure projects. Mark received a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University, and an M.S. degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Water Resources, from Utah State University.
