Hansen, Allen & Luce (HAL) participated in the fourth annual Maps on the Hill event at the Utah State Capitol on January 28, 2015.
Held in the Capitol Rotunda, the event featured dozens of digital and poster maps from the local mapping community on a variety of topics. HAL displayed maps on Utah water issues and discussed them with the public, state officials, and legislators, including the governor’s environmental advisor and members of the State Water Development Commission.
The Utah Geographic Information Council and Utah Automated Geographic Reference Center sponsored the event.
HAL is active in the geospatial community and uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support a variety of water and environmental projects throughout Utah and the Intermountain West.
